Korean beef is expensive, and so is omakase. However, there is a place at Hapjeong Station in Mapo-gu where you can taste Korean beef omakase at a very reasonable price. It's Woomadam.

If you make a reservation, you will be guided to a pre-set seat. When you take a seat, you are first shown the meat that will be on today's course.

1. Korean beef sashimi salad

At first, Korean beef is made into sashimi, topped with vegetables, and served as an appetizer. Fresh Korean beef sashimi, vegetables, and refreshing sauce were the perfect way to start the course.

2. Egg custard

Steamed egg topped with shrimp and seaweed is served warm. After eating the clean-tasting eggs, my stomach felt relieved.

3. The tenderloin 

The tenderloin was grilled first. It was very soft and cooked just right.

4. Top blade

The second part is top blade. It had a chewier taste than the tenderloin. This was my first time eating cucumber and seaweed, and it was a unique combination.

5. Noodle

In the middle of the course, a bite of noodles mixed with soy sauce was served to quench the appetite. It had a slightly spicy taste, which helped get rid of any remaining beef fat in my mouth.

6. Sirloin

The most greasy and delicious sirloin was full of juicy meat and even had a nutty flavor.

7. Seasoned meat

Lastly, they served grilled meat seasoned with a special sauce, and it felt like eating sweet ribs.

8. Rice burger

It was a cute mini-sized rice dish with meat added to make it look like a burger, so it was easy to fit into one bite.

9. Soybean paste stew and beef rice

The base of the soybean paste stew soup was very thick and rich, probably because it's base was beef soup.

10. Dessert

Dessert was simple, sliced ​​fruit and orange.
